My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable, and the views across the garden and ramparts were fantastic. I especially loved the frieze on the walls and the immense bathroom. The hotel offers all the facilities expected in a 4-star place, and the far-reaching views added to the experience.

Staying at this hotel felt like a godsend, with all the expected home comforts provided. The room, located in the 14th Century wing, offered a view to the Basilica and was generous in size, especially with a very spacious bathroom. While the location was truly in the heart of Carcassonne, the tight dead-end at the bottom of the hill added a peaceful charm, away from the tourist hassle outside.

The service was top-notch, with helpful staff and convenient transfers. The location was fantastic for exploring the old city and nearby areas, though a bit tricky to find at first. My stay at the hotel was incredible! The rooms were absolutely lovely, with an amazingly comfortable and large bed that was a massive luxury after camping for a few days. My room was large and very comfortable, overlooking the forecourt of the basilica. It even had a mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. I was delighted to have an upgrade to a room with a large decked terrace, complete with sun loungers and a table and chairs offering stunning views across the new town. The service was top-notch with excellent attention to detail; they even offered to turn down my bed in the afternoon. The location was perfect for exploring Carcassonne, right in the center but still close enough to walk down into the town. Although parking was a bit of a hassle, the large courtyard terrace area more than made up for it. The dining experience was outstanding, with a vast array of delicious breakfast options. Overall, my stay was truly memorable with exceptional service and amenities.
